Information
Chao Phraya Yommarat Museum was founded in 1999, to collect antiques, artifacts, and belongings of Chao Phraya Yommarat in recognition of his grace to Chao Phraya Yommarat Hospital. The 'yellow building' of the hospital is converted into a permanent museum. The building itself has its own significance in historic and archaeological sense and it is very appropriate for the exhibition. The exhibition is divided into 3 parts as following:
Part 1 enshrines the mortuary urn and part of the cremains of Chao Phraya Yommarat, half-body portrait of Chao Phraya Yommarat (Pan Sukhum) and Lady Talap Sukhum, photo of royal insignia, other insignia, medals, and other foreign decorations Chao Phraya Yommarat (Pan Sukhum) had received.
Part 2 displays the biography and work of Chao Phraya Yommarat. The walls are decorated with pictures of Chao Phraya Yommarat and image of "Manop Pan Mo" royal bestowed crest of Sukhum family.
Part 3 showcases artifacts, objects, and appliances that are relevant and contemporary.
