Chiang Saen National Museum is the museum in archaeological site exhibiting about archaeology and historical arts related the settle of community before history period
There are 2 parts of the exhibition in the museum
1. Main exhibition hall – downstairs categorized in 5 parts which are Chiang Saen history, Pa Suk temple’s molded lime pattern. Art of Lanna Buddha statue in Chiang Saen, Chiang Rai and Stone inscription
The Mezzanine categorized in 2 parts which are famous archaeological places in Chiang Saen andarchaeological items in Chiang Saen and Chiang Rai found since 1957 till now
such as Buddha statue,Jewelry pagoda, brick inscription and bronze 2. Complementary exhibition categorized in 4 parts. firstly it is lanna wares,
the study of lanna wares made from Chiang Rai fireplace.
Next is exhibition of the nationality study
such as Mekong River community, professional tools , local instruments, swords and weapons
Moreover, Chiang Saen National Museum collected material evidence and story related on culture, religion and belief exhibited by ancient items and traditional Chiang Saen

The museum is open to the visitors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is closed on the Mondays, Tuesdays and national holidays

Getting There
Private car – from Bangkok, drive on high way route 32 to connect to Chiang Rai. The Total distance is 830 km.
Public transportation - Take the bus Bangkok- Chiang Rai at bus terminal Mo chit 2 on Kampangpetch 2 road, everyday multiple round taking about 9-10 hours
Air plane -taking the flight Bkk- Chiang Rai 1 hour. There is multiple round every day .
