Information

Hall of Fame of General Prem Tinnasulanon was built in 1998 to honor General Prem Tinsulanonda, the President of Privy Council and Statesman, on the occasion of his 80th birthday. It is an educational and historical tourist attraction using mixed media, images, models, light, color and sound, making it one technologically modern museum in the northeastern region. Inside the building exhibit his biography, honorable deeds and achievements.

Getting There

With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 1 (Paholayothin Road) to Saraburi at the kilometre number 107. Go straight to Highway number 2 (Mittraphap Road). Pass Nakhon Ratchasima until reaching Khon Kaen. Go straight to Highway number 2039 (Nam Pong - Kranuan Road) at the kilometre number 25 (It far away from Khon Kaen city for 50 km). Drive north to Mittraphap Road, keep right and drive follow Udon Thani sign. Go straight for 29.9 km, then make a u-turn. Keep left, then go straight for 600 m and turn left to road number 2039. Drive for 18.5 km, then turn right and go straight. The destination is on the left.

By bus: Air-conditioned of Transport Company Limited and private companies from Bangkok to Khon Kaen line, The bus leave from Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2, Kamphaengphet 2 Road). Bus daily service available many times. Estimated distance 7 hours.

By train: Take the train from Bangkok Train Station (Hua Lamphong) to Khon Kaen. Train available everyday (Fast and express car). It takes about 8-9 hours.
