Commemorative Hall or the hall of the royal biography of Her Royal Highness the Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother was founded for Thai people, youths and foreigners who traveled to Doi Tung to know and understand the works of the five members in the House of Mahidol, especially each member’s proper behavior in doing their duties, their modest principles and their endeavor to improve the well-being of Thai people. This hall is to be an inspiration to visitors to think good thoughts, adhere to good deeds, and conduct good things. The Commemorative Hall, which is at the very front of Doi Tung Royal Villa, is divided into 7 rooms.
Room 1: The House of Mahidol, recounts the history and stories of the House of Mahidol as a small family
Room 2: Stories of the Royal Family through the biography of Her Royal Highness the Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother
Room 3: The Return to the Motherland of the House of Mahidol. It features His Majesty the King’s biography when he was on the greatest mission as a monarch of the people during the country’s chaotic time.
Room 4: People’s Hardship. It features His Majesty the King’s ascension to the throne
Room 5: A Sustainable Solution Model to problems of Thai people. The exhibition features His Majesty the King’s utensils familiar to Thai people, namely, a map, a radio, a pencil and a camera.
Room 6: A Solution Model to problems of Doi Tung people. It features the history of Doi Tung Development Project to solve the problem of the land that is part of the Golden Triangle entirely.
Room 7: Room of Inspiration. It features the inspiration that the five members of the House of Mahidol had in each other. The said inspiration has led to solutions of problems and has transformed the country in a better way.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 11 to Inburi District (Singburi). Pass Tak Fah - Wang Thong - Phitsanulok - Uttaradit - Denchai - Phrae - Rong Kwang. Then drive along Highway number 103 to Ngaw District. Then turn right to Highway number 1. Pass Phayao to Chiangrai city center. Drive along Highway number 1 (Phaholyothin Road), pass Mae Kham Sub - District (Mae Chan District). Drive for 5 km, then turn left at the intersection and found Doi Tung Tourist Station. Go straight to Highway number 1149 for 5 km. Then turn left at intersection to Highway number 1388. Then go straight for 5 km. The destination is on the left.
By bus: Bus service of Bangkok - Chiangrai available 23 times. It takes about 12 hours per time. From Chiangrai city center, get on a bus of Chiangrai - Mae Sai to drop at Ban Huai Khrai. And take the purple bus line to Doi Tung.
