Founded on 5 December 2006, with support from Mr. Prai Pattano, Hat Yai Municipal Mayor, on the 60th Anniversary Celebration of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Accession to the Throne, Hat Yai City Art Chamber reflects uttermost respect to King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit through exhibitions on their royal duties, as well as those of members of the royal family. With the ambition to serve as the learning centre and tourist attraction of Hat Yai, Hat Yai City Art Chamber also has exhibitions on contemporary art, local art and culture and domestic wisdoms. 

Hat Yai City Art Chamber consists of art exhibition room, art collection room, gallery and cultural hall.
