Information
House of Museums is the house that gathering vintage collections worth to be preserved, under the concept “collect it today, tomorrow it will be antique”. Former name of museum is Kid museum, for it is the place to collect kids’ toys and stuff. Later Mr. Anek Nawigmool, and friends who shared the same idea, had fund-raising for renovated to be a 3-storey house and set up the official museum as “House of Museums”.
House of Museums is an example of cooperative efforts of the group of people who love the collection. The museum is not only aimed at collecting antiques only, but the important here is originated from love, and faith of the Museum by people with the same ideology, different careers. Currently there are 2 houses that designed imitating houses in the old-time market.
The First house
1st floor set as a toy shop, gift shop, pharmacy, and souvenir shop.
2nd floor set as cinema, printery, barber shop, tailor shop, novel book rental, photo shop, kitchen, Suwathi house, and general public galleries.
3rd floor set as a classroom, sheriff's office, radio music & television store, gold shop, and department store.
The Second house has 1 floor, assuming as houses near a market by the river. There are terraces with bench for sitting together front of coffee shop, local shop, dental clinic, and stationary shop etc.

Getting There
Car, take Baromrachchonnee road outbound until reach where the Kanchanapisek road intersect, then Keep left out to the the parallel lane, pass under the Buddha Monthon 2 bridge and and turn left up the middle channel. Turn left onto Sala Thammasop road. (Notice the sign Thawi Watthana - salaya shortcuts)
Bus number 19, 123, 127 and Air-conditioned bus no. 16, and 17, pass by the Bang Chak Gas station, stop at “Tops” shopping store then cross the sky over, then take the motor bike to the “House of Museums”
