HM Bhumibol's Golden Jubilee Cultural Exhibition Hall was established by the resolution of the Committee of Religion and Culture Study of Chiang Rai in 1996 to gather the history of Chiang Rai from past to present, to provide accurate information to the general public, and to gather local significant objects. The exhibition is divided into 6 parts: 1. Grace of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, 2. History of Chiang Rai, 3. Indigenous and ethnic groups, 4. Language and Literature, 5. Culture of the 5 'Chiang', 6. Economy Square (Present Chiang Rai and Its Future). The exhibits are located on the ground floor of the Cultural Exhibition Hall. There are also exhibitions of various objects from Chiang Rai, such as models, art objects, imitated objects, video, and computer.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 11, from In Buri district, Singburi through Tak Fa - Wang Thong - Phitsanulok - Uttaradit - Denchai - Phrae - Rong Kwang. Turn left onto Highway number 103 to Ngao district, turn right to Highway number 1 through Phayao to Chiang Rai. Turn left onto Uttaradit Road, drive straight for 850 meters and turn right onto Ratana Road, drive straight for 160 meters and turn left onto Singhaklai Road. Drive straight about 150 meters to get the destination on the left.
