Information
Ban Pong Takkab Community Museum is an archaeological site with an area of over 15 rais. There are various kinds of important antiquities such as remains of clay containers decorated with overlaying rope pattern, remains of clay containers decorated with applying red clay, small polished stone axes, remains of bracelets made from white marble, as well as bones of various species of animals such as cows, buffaloes, barking deer, deer and pigs. These findings indicate that Ban Pong archaeological site may have been a large habitat for late prehistoric humans. It is situated on the wavy areas in the east of Pasak river, aged between 2,000 - 3,000 years old.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 1 to Saraburi. Then turn right at Mittraphap Road (Highway number 2). Then drive to Vang Muang District. Go straight to Highway number 2224 for 7 km. Then drive to Highway number 2273 for 22 km. Turn left at the intersection to Highway number 4005 for 2 km. Then turn left to Soi Wat Lang Kao and drive for 2 km. The destination is on the left.
By bus: Take normal or air-conditioned bus of the Transport Company or other private companies from Bangkok - Saraburi.
