Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park opened to visitors on March 26, 2017, the day of the 100th Anniversary of Chulalongkorn University. It has an area of 28 rai. The buildings in the park are surrounded by trees as to make them environmentally friendly and to be useful in slowing down water. The park was designed with the concept of urban forest. It is divided into 4 sections, as followed:  

1. Area for outdoor activities, which are divided into 3 sections: a small activity area with a capacity of no more than 50 people, a medium activity area with a capacity of 700 - 1400 people and a large activity area with a full capacity of 9,780 people. Another side’s capacity is 2,780 people.

2. Constructed wetland, created to promote ecosystems and recreation. It was designed using bioengineering for water treatment.

 3. Multipurpose Building which is in harmony with the landscape. The architecture is similar to an arch and serves as the park’s main area.

4. Water-absorbing garden which is tilted on one side so as to increase its ability to absorb, trap and reserve rainwater during the rainy season and use it in the summer season.
