Information
Khu Tuong Niem Chu Tich Ho Chi Minh was officially opened on May 19, 2016. This village is historically important as in the past, Ho Chi Minh, or who the villagers called “Bác Ho” (Vietnamese) or Uncle Ho, used to live here, so as to find allies to gain independence for Vietnam about 90 years ago. Inside the building, a statue of Ho Chi Minh is displayed for people to pay respect to. Another building situates waxworks, depicting the time when Ho Chi Minh was seeking refuge in Na Chok Village. The scene depicted was when he held a meeting with the villagers, who also migrated here to settle down. Inside the building is also a replica of Ho Chi Minh’s house and important historical facts.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 1. Then turn right to Highway number 23 until reaching Maha Sarakham. Then take Highway number 213, pass Kalasin. Drive along Highway number 22 to Nakhon Phanom. From the city center, go straight to Nakhon Phanom University. Drive pass the university for 1.9 km. Then turn right to Thai-Viet Nam Friendship Village. Then turn left to Soi 1 and drive for 1 km. The destination is on the left.
By bus: Take air-conditioned bus of the Transport Company or other private companies from Bangkok - Nakhon Phanom.
