Information
Museum of Wat Bangkaew was founded in 1983 to commemorate Luang Pu Boon or Lord Abbot Buddhawitheenayok. The exhibition takes up 3 floors. The ground floor exhibits Luang Pu Boon and Luang Pu Perm’s biography and daily utensils. On the east (left-hand side) displays Luang Pu Boon’s Buddhist amulets, talisman, sacred objects and Buddha images which are nearly 100 years old. The other side displays Thai medicine, herbs and medicine, and various types of tools as Luang Pu was a development-oriented monk. He always constructed and restored the temple. Apart from those, there are officiate clergy documents, journals or letters between Luang Pu and other people, astrological calendars which Luang Pu calculated and wrote by hand each year, a statue of Luang Pu Boon and photographs of him attached to the wall.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 338. Then make a u-turn to Phutthamonthon 8. Go straight, then turn left to route number 3235. The destination is on the left.
By bus: Take normal bus of the Transport Company or other private companies from Bangkok - Nakhon Pathom.
