Information
Ratchaphak Park was established to honor the Kings of Thailand from past to present, who have made great contributions to the nation, leading to the prosperity and solidarity of the Thai nation. The park is also a place for the Thai army to perform important ceremonies and to welcome important guests from foreign countries on their official visit to the Thai Army. It is also a tourist attraction and historical learning source for soldiers and their families, military students and the general public, both Thai and foreigners. Ratchaphak Park area is divided into different zones as followed, the first zone: a 91-rai multi-purpose court used for important military ceremonies and for welcoming important guests from foreign countries. The second zone: the museum building or the historical exhibition room. It contains information accumulated by researching, collecting and presenting the royal biographies and
significant royal activities of the Kings of Thailand from the Sukhothai period to the Rattanakosin period. The third zone: giant statues of seven notable Thai kings, from the Sukhothai period to Rattanakosin period. The statues of the kings include:
1. King Ram Khamhaeng (Sukhothai period)
2. King Naresuan ( Ayutthaya period)
3. King Narai ( Ayutthaya period)
4. King Taksin (Thonburi period)
5. King Rama I (Rama I of Rattanakosin period)
6. King Mongkut (Rama IV of Rattanakosin period)
7. King Chulalongkorn (Rama V of Rattanakosin period)

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 35 (Thon Buri - Pak Tho). Pass Samut Sakhon to Samut Songkhram. Then turn left to Highway number 4 (Petchkasem), pass Phetchaburi. Drive to Prachuap Khiri Khan. From the city center, take Highway number 4. Then turn right to Highway number 4, drive for 80 km. The destination is on the left.
