Information
Surinthon English Home was initiated when the Fine Arts Department rented this house for Ajarn Silpa Bhirasri and his family to reside. They stayed here for 8 years before moving into the house at Silom. The area consists of one large house and other three smaller houses. These houses are currently the property of the Royal Thai Army. The Fine Arts Department registered Surinthon English Home as a historical site in the Government Gazette and has renovated it afterwards. Inside are family photos of Ajarn Silpa Bhirasri and his art works. From the architectural forms in the upper and lower levels to the decorations, whether in stucco or wood carvings, give out the feeling of calmness and beauty. Even though the museum is not officially opened yet, it is open for those who are interested to visit.
