Information
Tamnak Plai Noen or Wang Klong Toei is a traditional Thai house, the palace of His Royal Highness Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong since he was 51 years old. It is one important place he used to create design projects and various types of art until he was hailed as the royal teacher of artisans and artists. The exhibition areas are divided using high bookcases as the barrier. In front of the cabinet is a painting of a Buddha image in the walking posture. On the sides are paintings of the Buddha’s disciples and angels, which later became the model for painting the murals of the ordination hall of Wat Rajathiwas. Mr. Chi Ricoli was the one who expanded the model to the murals. Behind the cabinet was once a dining table for His Royal Highness. Nowadays, however, a Bussabok (movable throne) is situated here. It is used in the annual guru worship on Narisara day or the birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong.
