Information
The Ancient Talisman Museum is located in Wat Tumklang, Muang district, Phayao. Phra Ajarn Somsak Sirimangkalo, a former abbot and former monk dean of Ban Tum sub-district, collected a number of antiquities and fabric talismans to be a source of learning for the community. Later, the temple, together with the villagers, built a museum in 2010. Inside are exhibits of ancient items, displayed in glass cabinets, and a large fabric talisman attached on the museum’s wall.
