Information
The Farmer Wisdom Museum was established to raise awareness about farmers’ hardship and difficult lives. Normally, farmers would sell broken farming tools to furniture shops to modify them into furniture. Later, Phra Kru Wisutthiprayuk had an idea and consulted with monks from all ranks to support and establish the Farmer Wisdom Museum. The exhibition inside is permanent, showing stories about farmers’ way of life in the northeastern region, Thai people's rice farming in the past, utensils and the livelihood. Most of the exhibits are displayed in glass cabinets, such as woven cloth, receptacle for betel, lanterns, pottery etc. Some of the artifacts are kept in the storage room of the old museum building, whose large hall displays many decayed bullock cars.
