Khao Wongphrachan Museum was founded by Luang Pho Fak, the abbot of Khao Wongphrachan Temple, exhibiting personal collection of the abbot. The museum features a 3-storey teakwood building. The first floor exhibits antique artifacts of various ages and times including ancient jars, celadon wares, Bencharong porcelain wares, ivories, petrified woods, various kinds of gems, and teak wood carved wall about religion, art, painting, and handicrafts. Second floor exhibits amulets, various monk's equipment including talipot fan and 18 fans of rank, and various Buddha images, three of which are Burmese style Buddha images suitable for students and anyone interested in Buddhist arts from various eras. Exhibition on third floor are photograph collection of King Rama V, estimated around 100 images. On third lunar month (between late January to early March) there will be Wat Khao Wongphrachan festival where Buddhists will come to worship the Buddha's footprint. On the mountain top and at the top of 3,790-step stairs there is a Guan Yin statue. It takes about 2 hours to climb the mountain.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take highway number 1 through Saraburi Province to Lopburi Province. From city center head south toward, exit the roundabout onto route 1 then turn right at Khok Krathiam intersection to stay on route 1, Continue straight for 850 m. The destination is on the left.
