Information
The museum was established by Uttaradit province, to commemorate the 6th anniversaries of King Bhumibol in 1999. On the official open ceremony of the museum to the public, the Lek Nam Phi Sword was created for displaying.
The exhibition of Nam Phi steel. which was made into Thai King’s right hand weapon, since the olden days, such as Khun Phaen’s Fah Fuen Sword, King Naresuan’s the Royal scythe-edged sword, King Narai Sword, including "Blade Nanthakhavuth weapons" of Phraya Pichai - the broken sword Knight, in believing that the Lek Nam Phi Sword has inner power itself. The museum also store other Lek Nam Phi amulets, and display the biggest the Lek Nam Phi Sword in the world.

The world's largest Lek nam Phi sword, with 9.24 meters long, 450 Kg. weight, 557.8 kg of Nam Phi steel were used. The hilt inlaid wooden sheathed, silver pearl patterned were etched, carved with motifs and sacred Khmer characters.

Getting There
By car from Bangkok, Take Highway no.1 (Phaholyothin) via Wang Noi, Ayutthaya province, Ang Thong – Singburi – Chainat – Nakhon Sawan – Pitsanulok until Uttaradit province.
By bus, there are air-conditioned Bangkok- Uttaradit buses leave from Northern Transport station (Mho-Chit 2) everydays, many rounds per day. Estimate duration of 7 hrs 30 mins.
By train, the train leave Bangkok Railway station (Hua Lamphong) and Thonburi Railway station to Uttaradit, 8 rounds per day, with rapid, express, and VIP express. Estimate duration of 6 – 9 hrs.
