Museum information. Lanna Cultural Art Park, formerly known as Rai Mae Fah Luang, was originally the office of the Thai Hilltribe Product Foundation in the patronage of HRH Princess Srinagarindra Boromarajonani by bringing the hilltribe youths from remote villages together to give scholarships for tuition and training on coexistence to learn about life and The Royal Initiative Internship . They will go back to pursue a career after the project ends, Rai Mae Fah Luang was changed to Lanna Cultural Art Park is for maintain the ancient Buddhist art, antique artifacts, art objects, Lanna architecture and provide knowledge about Lanna cultural heritage. In the area of 150 rai divided into exhibits and interesting things such as
1. Haw Kham (Golden Pavilion)is an ancient Lanna house. Inspired by the architecture of Wat Pong Sanuk, Lampang province on the occasion of HRH Princess Srinagarindra Boromarajonani, the Princess Mother, 84 years old. Inside of Haw Kham is the center of faith and holiness, gathering art objects and Buddhist art works over 200 years old age , such as Phra Prato (Principle Buddha Image in temple ) ancient Buddha images including Burmese, Tai Yai, Lao, Xishuangbanna, Chiang Tung, Muang Yong and Lanna, as well as wooden utensils for religious purposes such as candelabra, candlestick, carved wood, Kradang Tung, Khan Dokand gable etc.
2. Haw Kaew The Haw Kaew pavilion house a permanent exhibition on teak artifacts and traveling exhibition . There are wooden artifacts such as Year band tree of teak , ,Buddha images , Naktan( corbel), Kalair, Chofa (gable apex), Hang Hong (Haghgss toothlike ridges on the sloping edges of a gable) – Pan lom (Gable End), Hua Sao , Dao Pedan , Phang Lae , Ham Yon Kan Dok , Hed Tham ( Baddish Book Cabinet), Gang Tham ,etc.
3. Haw Kam Noi is a place to collect murals by powder color on teak boards from Wiangta Temple, Long District, Phrae Province.
4. Mae Fah Luang statue : It is a half-size bronze statue of HRH Princess Srinagarindra Boromarajonani,sitting on a rock, wearing The Royal Border Patrol Police (Patrol) costume and wearing cap. This sculpture is belong to the female sculptor Khun Meesiam Yipin Soi, the best artist in the field of painting, the first person in Thailand .In addition, there are other buildings, such as Sala Kham, Ruen Mai Hom, Sala see Nha, Sanctuary Sala and shops, etc.
