The construction project for the new location of Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School (AFAPS) commenced in 1996 and received the royal grace of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the then Army General, in presiding over to lay the foundation stone on 27 January 1998. Later, the Supreme Command Headquarter had constructed the order to relocate AFAPS to the new location at 185 Moo 5, Si Ka-ang Subdistrict, Ban Na District, Nakhon Nayok Province from 1 February 2000 onwards and commence instruction in May 2000.
The Museum of AFAPS is located on the east of AFAPS Student Club, in front of the headquarters building. The museum displays permanent exhibition on military weapons, warship, aircraft and army tank used in the Royal Thai Army.

Getting There
From Bangkok, private car should use Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok route. Continue and pass by Srinakharinwirot University Ongkharak Campus. Turn left at Bang-Aor Junction and cross the bridge. Continue, pass by Ban Na Hospital and head to AFAPS.
