Information
The museum comprises Anusan Sunthorn House, a traditional Lanna architecture built in the style of Kham Tiang house. The Chutima and Nimmanahaeminda families constructed this galae house as a learning source of traditional Lanna houses. There is also the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building that Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn had granted Royal Assent to the university to use her name and had presided over to chair the opening ceremony of the building on 21 January 2008. Built to serve as a learning source of Lanna art and culture in various aspects, the building has 4 floors as follows:
Level 1 Lanna wisdom information centre, Thai kitchen, reception, office and palm leaf manuscript centre
Level 2 Ethnic studies on Tai Yuan-Lua, Tai Khoen-Tai Yong, Tai Yai-Tai Lue, Eurng Sai Man Phra In Meeting Room, a small meeting room, Tai script, garment room
Level 3 Lanna wisdom on language and literatures, artisans, pottery, silverware, lacquer ware, music and folk art, Lanna traditional medicine or “Mor Muang”. Hall of Fame that portrays achievements and background of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University since 1924 as Pol Gen Chao Ratchabhatiwong (Khamtan Na Chiang Mai) had donated a 40-rai land to the teacher training school (Chiang Mai Rajabhat University) to serve the purpose of education. Biography of past college executives, from the first principal Chao Chuen Siroros to the present president.
Level 4 Knowledge on the teachings of Buddha, Lanna offerings, the trooping routes of King Naresuan from Chiang Mai to Mong Nai in Burma.

Getting There
From Manee Nopparat Road, keep straight and turn left a little before Chang Phueak Gate to enter Chang Phueak Road. Continue for about 1.5 kilometres, the university is on the left. For those arriving from Lampang, drive along Chiang Mai-Lampang Superhighway, turn left at Khuang Singh Intersection to enter Chang Phueak Road. Continue for 650 metres more. The university is on the left.
