The Nan Riverside Art Gallery was founded by Khun Winai Prabripoo, a famous Nan native artist. With his reputation in Arts, after he had work experiences with arts for decades, Khun Winai decided to came back for his hometown to establish the art gallery. Aim to convey beauty of arts to people and youth of Nan province. For more than 7 years preparing and designing process, the museum was officially open in 2004. The gallery is sectioned as follows;

A Large building Upstairs, exhibits Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn‘s personal paintings. The princess Sirindhorn was there 3 times for  inauguration ceremony, and displaying of arts gallery from other artists. Downstairs,

“Huen Nan Bua Phan home” is a permanent exhibition on Nan’s temple mural paintings in honour of Nan Puaphan temple, a legendary mural painter, responsible for the murals in Wat Phumin, Wat Nong Bua and Wat Phra That Changkham.

Moreover, there are spaces for new generation artists, with not too large size, and small number of artworks to display in the gallery and other services area, such as souvenir shop, coffee shop, and ground area to show sculptures, music, and real photos during important events.
