Information
Paknampho Memories was established to cultivate love for hometown among Pak Nam Pho locals and for later generations to know about the history of their hometown. Paknampho Memories is situated on the fifth floor of Fairy Land department store. Inside are antique-looking shops, the shop signs are also in antique style. The exhibition area is divided into 6 zones: 1st zone: Following King Rama V’s private journey to Nakhon Sawan over 100 years ago
2nd zone: Antique-looking shops. This zone is called the Laos market. Laos is the word used to refer to people who came from the northern region to trade here.
3rd zone: History from antique signs. The signs are mostly in Chinese.
4th zone: Pak Nam Po city exhibition: includes history of the town from the beginning to the present to show how the town has changed over time.
5th zone: Map, trade center of Pak Nam Po city. There is a simulation of map in older times.
6th zone: Stories of Pak Nam Po from photos courtesy of Manop Suwanasri.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 1 and turn left at Bang Pa In Intersection to Highway number 32. Then take Highway number 1 until reaching Dechatiwong Intersection. Then turn right to Sawanvitee Road, go straight for 2 km. The destination is on the left.
