Information
Phu Wiang Fossil Research Center and Dinosaur Museum established under the cooperation of Department of Mineral Resources, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Khon Kaen province. The aim is to be the resource center for researcher, students, and youths. The museum also serves as a tourist attraction of Khon kaen province.
The topics of permanent exhibition consists of history, evolution, natural, geology creatures and dinosaurs studies. The museum divided into 3 sections, 1. Support section 2. Laboratory Office and Library 3. Exhibition section which comprised of 5 exhibition zones;
The first zone : features the universe origin, rock cycles, and creature origin and Paleozoic fossils.
The second zone : A large hall displays the real-sized steel model of dinosaur structure, dinosaur bone fossils, and dinosaur footprint replica. There is an exhibition of Royal Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's royal task related to dinosaurs, Information of Phu Wiang Dinosaur and Paleozoic fossils sites in the area. The visitors can see the laboratory and collections room through the glass wall.
The third zone : Dinosaur park. Dedicates to dinosaur park with real-size dinosaur models of all types that found in Thailand, in the midst of waterfall and jungle as in the Jurassic paleo-environments.
The fourth zone : Exhibits the evolution of human, types of ancestor human and origin of human types in Thailand, including the useful implement of Mineral Resources.
The fifth zone : Phu Wiang hall - Display terrain models of the Phu Wiang district, history of museum establishment, and wisdom of local people.
Apart from the exhibition hall inside, there is also an outdoor exhibition on Tertiary Rocks and dinosaur models around the side of museum.

Getting There
- By car from Bangkok, take Highway no.1 (Phaolyothin Road) head north to Saraburi province at Kilometer No.107, turn right into Highway no.2 (Mitraphab Road) pass Nakhonrachasima province to Khonkaen. The estimate distance is 449 Kilometers.
- By bus, take the Bangkok-Khonkaen line from Thai Transportation Station (Mho Chit 2) service every day, estimate duration is 7 hours.and take Highway no.2038 to Choom Pae district, Phu Wiang district, the museum is 3 kilometers before reaching the park.
