The Museum was established to commemorate the history of Chinese immigration to Phuket. In order for present Thai people truly know their ancestors, realize the real of themselves, together with tourist or foreigners having chances to learn and understand lifestyle, behavior, and characters of Phuket people. The museum is also served as a center for research study and history data of Phuket.
