Information
Founded in 1987, with the construction budget of 9 million baht donated by the general public, General Prem Tinsulanonda had presided over to lead the foundation stone laying ceremony on 9 March 1986 and chair the opening ceremony on 29 January 1988.
Built with the objective to compile evidences and documents related to Thai history, which were the past works of General Prem Tinsulanonda, the 16th Prime Minister of Thailand, the National Archives of H.E. Gen Prem Tinsulanonda Prime Minister has made the artifacts available as public property to serve the use of administrative agencies and the learning of national history.
Services are provided as follows:
1. Select archives and printing materials related to General Prem Tinsulanonda for researchers, students and the general public.
2. Provide permanent exhibition on the biography, duties and memoirs received by General Prem Tinsulanonda in several occasions, as well as temporary exhibitions that mark special occasions.
3. Conduct a tour and academic lectures for students and the general public.
4. Provide advice on cataloguing and destruction of documents, delivery of historical documents. Construct Life Table for administrative agencies in Nakhon Si Thammarat.
