Information
Puparn Royal Development Study Center was established according to the Royal Initiative that King Bhumibol Adulyadej had given on 25 November 1982. Having begun the operations in 1984 on 13,000 rais of land area, the centre serves as a comprehensive study centre that provides knowledge on the development of land, water resource, forest rehabilitation, as well as the planning of agriculture and livestock. Puparn Royal Development Study Center is situated within the Phu Lom Khao – Phu Phek National Forest and Nam Pung non-teak plantation project forest.
Having played the role of a “Living Museum of Mother Nature”, Puparn Royal Development Study Center is the learning source of land improvement, water source, forest rehabilitation and the planning of agriculture and livestock.

Getting There
The centre is located approximately 10 kilometres to the south of Mueang District. From Sakon Nakhon town, use Highway 213 and continue for 4 kilometres. Turn left into the entrance. The junction to the entrance is 3 kilometres before the Puparn Rajanivet Palace.
