Samut Sakhon Science Center for Education was established to generate the students and general public's interest in science and technology and raise their environmental awareness. Inside the Center consists of 15 learning bases including Scientific Shows base where simple scientific principles are demonstrated in exciting magic-like shows; and Astronomy and Space base where speakers give lectures and exhibitions on galaxy and universe is held. There are also other activities for children to enjoy such as activities and competitions of making water bottle rockets, making of tetrahedral kites as well as a variety of science camps including 3 day/2 night science skills camps, 3 day/2 night invention maker camps and 2 day/1 night energy camps.
