Information
The aquarium is located at the Samut Sakhon Coastal Fisheries Research and Development Center, a learning center of marine inhabitants for local people and tourists. The center exhibits different species of fish and various marine creatures.
Interesting highlights are such as, sculpture of 17 metres-high Bryde's whale, the symbol of god of Thailand’s ocean,
The underwater tunnel, and the show on feeding the fish during the weekends.

Getting There
1. By car from Bangkok there are many ways to go;
- From Bangpakaew junction, take Highway #35 (Thonburi Paktho or Rama 2 Rd.) via Bangkhuntien district office, Ekachai Weight station to Mahachai junction around KM.28 turn left into downtown Samut Sakhon, estimate distance 29 km
- From Dow Kanong take Ekachai Rd. via Bang khuntien Wat Sing temple, Bang Bon junction, Kog krabue sub-district, Ekachai Weight station to Mahachai community, into downtown Samut Sakhon, estimate distance 30 km
- From Tha Phra intersection, take Highway no.4 (Petch kasem Rd.) to Nong Kham, turn left to Soi Petch kasem 81 until reach Ekachai junction, turn right onto Ekachai rd. until reach Samut Sakhon, estimate distance 30 km. or take Petchkasem rd. after passing Bang Khae road then turn left to use out bound ring express way, at the junction of Ekachai Rd. make a U-turn to use Ekachai Rd. or go straight to use Thonburi-Pak Tho Rd.
- from Phra Pinklao bridge take Baromratchachoni road and exit to Petchakasem Rd. 3 ways, which are Bhuddhamonthon Sai 2, Sai 4 and Sai 5. Then can go either Buddhamonthon Sai 2 turn right to into Ekachai Rd. to downtown Samut Sakhon, estimate distance 35 Km. or Buddhamonthon Sai 4 and 5 into Sethakit 1 Rd. at Aom Noi junction, via Kratoomban into downtown Samut Sakhon , estimate distance 50 Km.
Moreover, can be reach by Bangkok outter-ring road which join Ekachai and Thonburi-Pak Tho road.
2. By bus - there are Bangkok - Samut Sakhon, leave from Southern bus terminal, everydays, many rounds per day.
3. By Train, trains are serviced from Mae Klong, leave from Wong wien Yai railway station to Samut Sakhon (Mahachai station) everyday, with distance of 33 km. estimate duration is 1 hr.
