Information
As Thailand’s first space museum and learning centre, the Space Inspirium will enable visitors to unleash their imagination and seek answers of our space through the state-of-the-art presentation technology. Visitors of all paths of life and age ranges can participate in several sections through well-design interactive platform.
The museum consists of 13 sections as follows:
Zone 1: UNIVERSE
The exhibition explains the origin of the Universe. Here, visitors will find the answer through a hologram video presentation on why there are living things on our planet. What factor makes living things survive on Earth? And why aren’t we floating away from the Earth?
Zone 2: HISTORICAL TECHNOLOGY OF SPACE
The exhibition explains the evolution of going into the space since the beginning of the Age of the Sages, an early space pioneer, and the age of technology of Space. Enjoy the mission of sending a spacecraft and satellite into an orbit in the Space Mission Game.
Zone 3: LIFE BEGINS TO SPACE
Visitors will learn how to get ready to go out into the space. What factors are being concerned when travelling into outer space? After being out in the space, how will our body react? For example, body and gravity. Experience the Gyroscope, a machine imitating gravity resistance used for the training of astronauts.
Zone 4: SPACE STATION
Here, life in space will be explained. Visitors will learn about living in the International Space Station: ISS and the research in space, including how to carry out mission in space gloves.
Zone 5: SPACE 3D THEATER
Visitors will be marvelled at a story of space adventure of a father and his son. The show will stir up curiosity about space. Visitors will be seeing the foster from generation to generation, inspiring people’s interest about space and thus reinforcing the imagination and encouraging more learning of the space.
Zone 6: SATELLITE
The exhibition introduces visitors to satellite, as well as types, orbit of satellite and satellite building. There is also the mission to Mars that excites the audience with our Earth that tremendous satellites are orbiting around.
Zone 7: GEO INFORMATICS
The section explains the Geo Informatics in everyday life and emphasises how the technology is close to us.
Zone 8: REMOTE SENSING
Visitors will learn about the Remote Sensing technology, energy and radiation, Electromagnetic Energy, Spectral Reflectance, details of the picture and information analysis. There is also an infrared camera that points out to persons or objects and displays thermal results.
Zone 9: GLOBAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEM
The exhibition displays the Global Navigation Satellite System. Visitors will enjoy the Tracking Game in which they will play the role of an officer who’s guarding the city and must determine the best route to resolve incidents in urgent cases.
Zone 10: GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS
The section features the Geographic Information Systems, as well as analytical process and the 3D map making experiment.
Zone 11: GISTDA MY HOUSE
The section simulates perspectives of the locations of interest.
Zone 12: GEO INFORMATICS APPLICATION
The exhibition demonstrates the application of nature and environment with agriculture, urban planning and security. Visitors will gain more understanding through city building game and farmer recommending game.
Zone 13: APPLICATION FOR TOMORROW
The section features images of places in a 360-degree perspective with inspiring captions.
