Thai House of Chulalongkorn University was built to commemorate 60th anniversary of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej's accession, Rajamangalabhisek Royal Ceremony, and also the 70th anniversary of Chulalongkorn University foundation. These houses are a group of high-rise traditional Thai permanent houses designed by Associate Professor Pinyo Suwannakiri and Lecturer Phao Suwansaksri of Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University. The center house is a twin roof house. This group of houses consist of 5 houses:
The first one houses a royal bestowed Buddha statue, a sacred Khon mask of Thai musical god, ancient musical instruments, and the xylophone of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
The second one exhibits antique tools and objects such as glassware, silverware, Bencharong porcelain wares, and ancient woven fabric, donated to the university by Dr. Winit and Ms. Pannee Winitnaiphak.
The third one exhibits woven basketry from different region of Thailand, donated by Associate Professor Saeng-arun Ratkasikorn
The fourth house is a large pavilion in the middle of a pond using for various activities and functions.
The fifth house is used as an office of Cultural Promotion Center.

With private car: From Victory Monument, take Phayathai Road until reaching Chulalongkorn 12 Intersection. Then turn right to Soi Chulalongkorn 12. The destination is on the left.
