Operating under the supervision of Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat Museum of Anthropology is a part of Thammasat University. The museum collects artifacts which are related to fine arts, culture and archaeology. The Faculty has directed the concept for the development of Museum of Anthropology in a way that reflects the lifestyle of human in the society we live in. Key role of the museum is to serve as the source of knowledge in the field of archaeology and folk culture in order to support instruction, practice and research of several subjects under the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology. Thammasat Museum of Anthropology does not open for general public, except group visits with an advance appointment.
