The National Archives of Thailand was established on the occasion of His Majesty the King's Golden Jubilee in 1996 by the Ministry of Education, whose main mission is related to education, religion, and art and culture. It is to be developed into a National Archives with a technological system which is used to manage, collect and maintain important national documents regarding the biographies, royal duties and royal thoughts of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the royal family. It is also to be the center of information archives in which documents can be searched quickly, including sample views during the search and copy services. The exhibition covers 3 buildings: Building 3 includes an exhibition on royal biographies. Building 4 exhibits royal activities. All of the activities are to commemorate King Bhumibol Adulyadej, to publicize royal biographies and the various activities that he has done with perseverance and his life to provide peace for his subjects.

With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 1 (Phahonyothin). Go straight to Phahonyothin Frontage Road. Then turn left to Klong Luang District before Thammasat University.Then take Highway number 3214 until reaching Klong 5 Bridge. Then turn left, drive for 1 km. The destination is on the left.
