Sirindhorn Chinese Language and Culture Center is  the cooperation between Mae Fah Luang University and the People's Republic of China. The Chinese government provided grants in the survey and design of construction as well various accessories . To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Somdet Phra Srinagarindra Boromarajajonani ‘s birthday, and as a mark of goodwill between the two countries . The Center has conducted Short-term Chinese course to those who are interested in starting writing, reading, listening , speaking and Chinese culture . There are also having  Chinese language courses at the degree level by accepting high school ‘s students level  .With academic cooperation from leading universities in China  closely in order to be the leading Chinese language and culture teaching institute in Thailand and countries in the Mekong River Basin. It also has a duty to conduct research about China in terms of art, culture, society, government, and others. Sirindhorn Chinese Language and Culture Center is another tourist attraction of Chiang Rai province, with the characteristics of building as authentic Chinese architecture .There is a water park in the middle like  architecture of Suzhou city. Materials used in many parts are imported from China, such as roof tiles, decorated statue on the roof and  carved lion . It is authentic Chinese identity. In addition, there are 86 photographs of the royal family from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and traveling  exhibitions alternating
