Information
Tung Seam Ha Musuem (House of Thousand Jars) is a folk museum filled with knowledge about old pottery. Some of the antique pottery on display are centuries old, consisting of various types of pottery from Sukhothai period, such as rice cookers, traditional portable stove, fireplaces, water jars, liquor jars, garlic jars, fish sauce jars, pickled bean curd jars, etc., as well as pottery salvaged from the Mae Klong River, including teak mirror, nickel tray, teak boat, traditional portable stove, and many kinds of rare antiquities. This museum is born of the intention of Mr. Thawatchai Pitsethasalasai, a collector of ancient pottery who has been collected these antiquities for quite a long time before deciding to open this house to welcome tourists free of charge. The museum is also a source of learning for nearby communities who are interested in conservation works.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 35 (Rama 2 road). Pass Samut Sakhon to Samut Songkhram. Then turn left, drive to the bridge and go straight route number 325 to Samut Songkhram Municipality. Then take Bang Phae - Samut Songkhram Highway, drive for 6 km. Then turn left, drive to Amphawa Municipality. Take Samut Songkhram Highway number 6002 (Thonburi - Pakthor Road). Go straight for 5.5 km, the destination is on the left.
