Information
Wat Khoi Folk Museum was established in 1909 to preserve the Thai cultural heritage and to mark the past abundance where aquatic animals were plentiful and life was nicer and simpler comparing to nowadays. The exhibit of the museum includes personal belongings of the first abbot, Phra Khru Sukit Wichan (Luang Pho Khem), the former dean of Wiset Chai Chan sub district such as a lantern from Washington and a clock from Paris, both from King Rama V era, and teak Tipitaka cabinet carved with Chinese patterns. There are also various local boats such as various types of local wherries, long boat, Luang Pho Khem personal roofed boat which was built around 1909. Besides, the museum also houses traditional baby hammock, local tools and equipment such as wagon, wheels, carts, sledges, plough handle, buffalo and cow yoke, harrow, thresher, creel, bamboo basket, fish trap, crayfish trap, eel trap, bird trap, and various sculpts such as farmers, buffalos, plowing cows.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 1 (Phaholyothin) and then take Highway number 32 through Bang Pa-in, Bang Pahan district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya to Ang Thong. From the city heads to south-east, follow the railway road then turn right to Khiri Ratya, turn left into Khiri Ratya and turn left, the destination is on the left.
