Information
Phrathat Ruang Rong was built in 1982 to house Buddha's relics. The building features a combination of architectural style of four Southern Isan tribes: Lao, Kuy, Khmer, and Yer. It is 49-meter tall, divided into 6 floors. The first floor is a folk museum exhibiting tribal way of life. Second and third floor exhibits of ancient tools including pottery, traps, lanterns, records, books, weapons, and paintings. The fourth floor is resting area. The fifth floor is meditation room. The 6th floor enshrined the Buddha's relics and is also a scenic view point.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take highway number 1 (Phaholyothin) and drive along until reaching Saraburi Province. Then turn right to highway number 2 and drive along until reaching Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Then take highway number 226 through Buriram, Surin, and Sisaket Province. Then drive along highway number 226 until passing Big C Supercenter, then turn left to highway number 2373 and goes straight for 3.5 km. Then turn right and goes straight for 2.5 km. Phrathat Ruang Rong is on the right. The destination is inside.
