Information
Wattanothaipayup Education Museum was established in 2006 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Wattanothaipayup School. The museum also serves to conserve and promote arts and culture local wisdom of Lanna. It is a source of learning for students and the general public. It was honors for the school to have H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn preside over the opening ceremony of the Wattanothaipayup Education Museum. Inside the museum, there are exhibits about the kings in the Chakri Dynasty and the rulers of Chiang Mai, important historical documents and the school’s records.

With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 1. Pass Lampang to Chiang Mai. From Chiang Mai Airport, turn left to Khu Muang. Then take Bun Rueang Rit Road, pass Mum Muang and go straight. The destination is on the left.
