In the year 2530, Janjawa Wittayakom School established a museum in the school by collecting antiques from local people that most things has deteriorated over time. Later in 2002, the Janjawa Wittayakom learning center was established which divided by learning groups in social ,religion and culture. Phongsak Pankaew is the leader of the group. The objective is for studying in the tradition of people in the Janjawa sub-district . A local museum named officially that Wiang Nong Laom Local Museum in 2005 and opened the ceremony, supported by the school director Mr. Sumeth Jatpiyawat and cooperation from teachers and students. Outstanding objects, such as the Janjawa Bronze Drums that excavated at Nong Khiao at the west area of Wiang Janjawa (Janjawa Wittayakom School) by Mr. Choosap Saisang, age 54, excavator control engineer of Nong Khiao . Bua Korn Construction Limited Partnership gave it as a property of Local Museum, Wiang Nong Laom, in 2003 . Janjawa Bronze Drums is diameter of 37 cm and height 25.5 cm during the metal age, around 2,800 - 2,400 years ago. The patterns decorated with birds, people ,cow and Muya (tobacco pipes). Many artifacts found in the archaeological sites of Wiang Nong Lom, are assumed that in Yonok Nakorn Kingdom about 500 years old. The pattern is decorated with lotus pattern, bird pattern, flower pattern, etc., Some pieces are made from terracotta pieces coated by brown or green water . Muya pipe is used for smoking and may also be used as ornaments. Sometimes they were used for some rituals. This is the identity of this area people with using tobacco . In addition, the museum has other artifacts from the survey of Wiang Nong Lom and from donations, such as Bhudha image of pho leave pattern , Wiang Ka Long Pottery ,Terracotta jars that have water grooves on the upper mouth, polished stone axes and Palm Leaf Manuscripts.
